ABOUT US
TOGETHER AS A COMMUNITY
In Spring of 2016, a small group of town volunteers organized Boylston's first town wide clean up. The movement impacted many town residents in a positive way. This effort offered an opportunity for additional volunteerism to individuals, families and children and it was a great example of community unity raising an awareness around the issue of town littering and pollution. It was also an opportunity for each of us to invest in our neighborhoods and this wonderful little community we call home.
Our second town wide cleanup expanded to local business sponsorship and it was then we realized that there was more we could achieve for our community. It was then that Keep Boylston Beautiful as an organization was born.
Keep Boylston Beautiful may have been founded by a few in town resident volunteers, however this organization truly belongs to the community and KBB can and will be much more than just our town wide clean ups. Our focus with the help of our sponsors has been on building a foundation for the committee which includes resources, simple operating needs and our first project of establishing ourselves as a non profit organization. Through the continued support of our sponsors and volunteers our goal is to expand our scope and efforts beyond our clean up initiatives. We run 100% off of donations and depend on local residents and businesses to participate in our fund raising events. In turn we are going to put those funds right back into the community for all to enjoy.
Keep Boylston Beautiful is currently run by these volunteers. If you see us around town please say Hi!

Since the Spring of 2016 together as a community we have organized 11 town wide litter clean ups and have removed over 12+ tons of litter and several gigantic piles of large debris from our roadsides, parks, and public spaces. Volunteers took the time to separate and recycle what we could. We had volunteers of all ages come out to clean up our town. We were so impressed to see families and groups picking up litter together.
The volunteers from our last events did so much more than just pick up litter. Together as a community we educated our children on the importance of taking care of our beautiful town. Together we instilled a feeling of accomplishment and community togetherness while removing 25,500+ pounds of litter!
